How does it feel to be nominated for the Student of the Year award?

I was so surprised and super excited to have been nominated.

 

Can you tell us your favourite memory from studying at The Masters?

All of the little funny day to day moments that you can’t help but laugh at. The Masters felt like a second family and every day was fun.

 

Why did you choose to study your course?

I chose to study hairdressing at The Masters because of its industry leading education and for the professional opportunities we were offered during our study. This left me with not only a qualification but also industry experience from the start of my career.

What have you loved most about your course or time at The Masters?

The staff are amazing, so supportive and encouraging. 

 

If you could have a one-on-one mentoring session with a renowned figure in your industry who would it be, and what would you ask them?

Chris Appleton, how does he work under such pressure in ever-changing environments.

 

Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

Still in Tasmania, doing great hair. 

 

Do you have any advice for any students who are wanting to excel in your industry?

Work hard, listen to your seniors and have fun along the way.
