Elisa Bianchi is one of our incredible makeup alumni; we loved getting to know her and hearing all about her time studying makeup at The Masters! Take a look below to find out about her studies, her passions, and her goals.

What do you love about makeup?

I love the endless variety of different transformations to try out. I also love making people feel beautiful. I’ve been getting a lot of inspiration from other artists' creativity, especially Patrick Ta on Instagram. I love trying out all the latest makeup trends.

What did you enjoy about studying at The Masters? What did you learn that’s helped you get to where you are today?

I loved seeing everyone’s creativity coming together. My teachers were inspiring and to this day I want to keep learning more because of them. I learned a lot about the business side of the makeup industry and how I can become my own boss.

What industry experience did you have while studying?

I worked backstage at the Peter Alexander Spring Collection last year. I got to experience what that was like, what sort of makeup a professional makeup artist brings, and I got to do some makeup on models.

What are your goals for the future?

I see myself opening up my own salon, offering makeup and hair services, along with freelancing as well.

What advice would you give to students thinking about studying at The Masters?

I would advise future students to practice what you learn on friends and always write down all your ideas as they come to you!
