A few months ago, some of our talented makeup students got the amazing opportunity to work backstage at the VAMFF Angels Runway! We interviewed makeup student Bianca about her incredible experience doing makeup for a runway show; read about it below!

What industry experiences have you had through Agency T.M.?

I’ve done photoshoots for The Masters’ digital and print publication, T.M. Edit, as well as makeup at VAMFF shows. Working at VAMFF, I was one of the makeup artists. It was a great experience overall; I loved the fast-paced environment and being able to see what it’s like being backstage at a runway show. I loved getting the industry experience I’d definitely do it again—it’s invaluable experience. I was in my fifth week of my first term, so I was in the deep end, but it was a good thing! It was great experience and it taught me a lot.

Why did you choose to study at The Masters?

I chose The Masters for the external opportunities that they bring as well as the very knowledgeable teachers that they have here.

What advice would you give to students considering studying at The Masters?

Go for it! If you have a passion for a creative industry, just give it a go. You might be nervous, but you never know what it could bring you.
