It's finally here! Our Melbourne campus has officially opened our new common room and we are so excited to share it with our T.M. Students. If you haven't visited it yet, head up to Level 3, Studio 5 and see what all the fuss is about. Here are our top tips on how to use your new space to it's greatest potential.
- Get ‘Old School’ Inspired
We love the term ‘creative break’, which can mean all sorts of things. Let’s be real - you probably spend more time ‘scrolling’ your Insta feed than flicking through the pages of print magazines, but sometimes it’s nice to move away from the black mirrored screen in front of you and get ‘old school inspired’. Have a read through magazines including Fashion Journal and our own student led publication ‘T.M. Edit’ all available right at your fingertips in our common room.
- Make the most of the selfie opportunities!
Our new common room is begging to be photographed and has pools of natural light flooding in, perfect for your pictures. Take a selfie by our blackboard wall or an outfit of the day pic at the green wall. Don’t forget to tag us @TheMasters.Institute and hashtag #MastersTribe so we can see you!
- Relax and enjoy your lunch!
We have a variety of tables and chairs available for you to take the time to relax and sip on a cup of coffee or tea. We also have a microwave available for your use. P.S. - we now have our own Keep Cups available for purchase so if you’d like to get sustainable, please visit reception to purchase your own!
- Discover What’s On
Stay tuned for our soon to be released chalk calendar which will fill you in on everything that’s on each month and how you can get involved!
- Study in Style
Okay, so we don’t want to brag but when we walked past the common room and saw one of our students studying in such a stylish space, we couldn’t help but take a snap. Whilst we have a variety of spaces available for studying, feel free to also use the common room to get on top of your sketches, homework and more. It’s also the perfect place for a nice flat lay.
You can find the common room on Level 3 in Studio 5 at our Melbourne campus.
