We chatted to Valentina about the elements that made her journey at Holmes Institute Fashion unique and the challenges she faced. 

What does winning this award mean to you?

I appreciate the recognition as I worked hard and gave my best to this course. . The award serves as a motivating factor, inspiring me to continue pushing boundaries, exploring innovative ideas, and striving for excellence in my work.

When things were tough, how did you stay focused and not give up?

I look at the big picture and how far I have come. My parents, especially my boyfriend, are fundamental pillars where I found strength and comfort in tough times. Having a strong support system can provide encouragement, guidance, and a different perspective on the challenges you're facing.

What advice would you give to other students who want to excel in your field?

Talent is important. However, dedication and hard work make the difference. Success in any field requires hard work and dedication. Develop a strong work ethic, be disciplined in managing your time, and stay committed to your goals.

Can you share your favourite opportunities or experiences that you had at Holmes Institute Fashion?

The overall experience, even though it was challenging, has been great. The feeling of all the effort and work invested in it has its rewards is fantastic.
